Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Location: Kansas City, KS Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Late Clinic: Wednesdays | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered reproductive and women’s healthcare services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in family planning, women’s health, and preventive care while working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive reproductive and women’s health services • Perform: o Physical assessments o Sports physicals o Work physicals o Limited acute care services • Conduct routine gynecological examinations including: o Pelvic exams o Breast exams o Colposcopy services (training available) • Prescribe medications within scope of practice • Order and interpret diagnostic tests • Provide patient education and pregnancy options counseling Patient Care & Coordination • Deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive care • Educate patients on preventive and reproductive health topics • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Administrative Responsibilities • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation • Support development of clinical protocols and procedures • Assist with clinic operations and quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license • Active and unrestricted APRN/NP license in the State of Kansas • Experience in: o Reproductive Health o Family Planning o OB/GYN o Women’s Health • Current BLS certification • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills ________________________________________
