Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic health conditions. Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform detailed physical examinations. Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic and laboratory test results.
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans. Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease prevention, and overall wellness. Promote continuity of care through follow-up treatment and care coordination. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records and patient documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications Urgent Care experience is preferred Required Current California Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for California licensure Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Ability to meet Adventist Health Medical Staff credentialing requirements Compensation & Benefits Compensation Range: $132,384 - $198,577 annually Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
