Quick Facts: Location: Seattle, WA Start Date: 09/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing through Spring 2027 Shift: 7:00am – 5:00pm (Clinical hours + call) Hours/week: 40 (plus call) Employment Type: Contract / Locum License/Certs: Current WA or IMLC license, DEA, BC in neurosurgery/critical care preferred Experience: 3+ years in neurosurgery or critical care settings preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour Weekly pay with direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure/travel reimbursements, referral bonus program, dedicated support team What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient neurosurgical coverage, including rounding and assessments Respond to occasional weekend call, including pre-op and post-op patient management Collaborate with neurosurgeons, ICU staff, and multidisciplinary teams for patient care Manage neurosurgical procedures such as wound checks, staple/suture removal, drain management, VP shunt monitoring Assist with triage and escalation of urgent cases Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) Support patient recovery and coordinate discharge planning What You Need: Active Washington State or IMLC license and DEA registration (must be active at start) BC in neurosurgery, critical care, or equivalent preferred Minimum 3+ years of relevant inpatient experience in neurosurgery or critical care Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-acuity environment About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Seattle providing excellent neurosurgical patient care.
