Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner II Location: Capron, VA 23829 Duration: 3+ Months with possible extension Shift: 4x10s day Shift Job Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and patient histories. • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and develop individualized treatment plans. • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. • Provide preventive care, health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counseling. • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices. • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. Requirements : Active state NP License BLS/CPR DEA certification
