Acacia Ward is pleased to announce a HCA position in our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our newly refurbished unit. Acacia Ward has 12 beds where we deliver holistic care of patients and we work closely alongside our MDT whilst caring for patients with acute medical needs and infectious diseases. The goal of the unit is achieve gold standard in infection control whilst ensuring the best quality of care for patients and those important to them.
We are a warm, friendly team of professionals who work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to provide high quality, holistic, person-centered care, that is evidence-based. As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.
The Senior Healthcare Support Worker will be an integral part of the ward/department team actively taking part in meeting the needs of patients and of the service in accordance with agreed standards under direct supervision of the registered nurses, nurse associates and midwives. The post holder will develop essential competencies though training and practice to ensure safety and quality are the priority.
