Quick Facts Location: 707 14th Street, Baraboo, WI 53913 Start Date: 01/22/2027 End Date: 04/23/2027 Shift: 24-Hour Day Shift (07:00–07:00) Schedule: Combination of weekdays and weekends, approximately 15–20 shifts per month Hours/Week: Full-time schedule with flexible coverage Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: MD/DO, Board Certified, IMLC accepted, BLS, ACLS, NRP, DEA required Experience: 1–2 years preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $2535.00 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and lodging reimbursements (up to $250/night for lodging, travel expenses billable as applicable) What You’ll Do Provide routine labor and delivery coverage in a hospital setting Manage vaginal deliveries, C-sections, postpartum rounding, and gynecologic emergency consults Collaborate with CNM support staff in a rural community hospital Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management Support patients across various non-high-risk obstetric cases Cover approximately 120 births annually, with a focus on quality care What You Need Required: MD or DO with valid license in Wisconsin or eligible via IMLC Board Certification in OB/GYN BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience DEA registration Preferred: Willingness to float between multiple sites including Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, and Madison About the Assignment Join a dedicated team providing essential obstetric and gynecological care in a rural Wisconsin hospital.

This position emphasizes routine OB management, postpartum care, and emergency gynecologic consults without involvement in high-risk obstetrics or resident/staff training. The facility offers a collaborative environment focused on community health and professional growth, with a manageable credentialing process lasting approximately 60 days.
