Occupational Health Administrator Location: Coventry, CV1 4LY Rate: £13.48 per hour PAYE Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:00pmFriday: 8:30am to 4:30pm1-hour unpaid lunch breakMonday to FridayWorking basis: Fully onsite position Duration: Temporary basis, 3 months with reviewal to extend.About the Role Opus People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Administrator to join a busy Occupational Health team with Coventry City Council based in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised administrator with strong scheduling and customer service skills to support the efficient delivery of occupational health services. The successful candidate will provide a range of administrative and reception duties, acting as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for managing appointment schedules, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all administrative processes are completed efficiently and confidentially.

Key ResponsibilitiesManaging occupational health appointment bookings and schedulingMaintaining and updating appointment diariesProviding a professional reception service for visitors and service usersHandling telephone and email enquiriesAccurately inputting and maintaining confidential employee recordsSupporting the administration of occupational health referrals and assessmentsPreparing documentation and correspondence as requiredFiling, scanning, and maintaining electronic recordsAssisting with general administrative duties to support the wider teamEnsuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements Essential Experience & SkillsPrevious administration experience within a busy office environmentExperience of appointment scheduling and diary managementStrong data entry skills with excellent attention to detailPrevious experience as a Medical Receptionist, GP Receptionist, GP Administrator, or within a healthcare setting is highly desirableExcellent communication and customer service skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectivelyProfessional and confidential approach to handling sensitive informationStrong organisational skills and attention to detail What We're Looking For We are seeking a highly organised individual who can work effectively within a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
