We currently have the following opportunity: Occupational Therapist, 2 Posts - PKC14199 Post 1 - £47,601 - £50,773, 36 Hours per week Post 2 - £23,800 - £25,386, 18 Hours per week South and Perth City Localities, Pullar House, Perth Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a new challenge?

Do you want to play a key role in improving outcomes for residents while supporting staff to deliver safe, person-centred care and outcomes? If so, then this could be just right for you. We are currently recruiting to posts within our South and Perth City localities and will consider applications from candidates seeking full time or part time hours. The roles will enhance the multidisciplinary teams by delivering high quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to a diverse community caseload, while supporting the development of innovative, integrated models of care.

There is a key focus on early intervention, prevention and a reablement approach across all services. You will be expected to undertake comprehensive assessments and to arrange the provision of basic and specialist equipment, minor adaptations and community supports to assist individuals to achieve their optimum level of independence in the community. You will be working with a supportive and collaborative team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and clerical assistants based throughout our Perth and Kinross localities.

Perthshire is an area of exceptional beauty, comprising of small towns, villages, and rural hamlets. It is one of the most picturesque areas of Scotland set in the heart of the Strathearn countryside. We enjoy very close working relationships between primary health, community nursing, social work and all the AHP staff. Our community hospitals are at the heart of multidisciplinary working and integrated care teams.

Our integrated Hub is represented by the Social Work team, District Nursing, Community Mental Health, Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams. We offer Occupational Therapists the opportunity to further develop clinical skills and knowledge within a dynamic community setting. This will include assessment, rehabilitation, equipment provision, moving and handling, and planning and building design.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and community partners to optimise positive outcomes for service users. As an Occupational Therapist within the team you will be required to work with people of all ages who require specialist OT assessment and intervention. You will be expected to undertake comprehensive assessments and to arrange the provision of equipment, adaptations and community supports to assist individuals to achieve their optimum level of independence in the community.

You would have a base in one of our localities with the option of using the council hub in Perth. We work a hybrid system of flexible working and support working from home and/or base as required.
