SALARY RANGE $17.42 Hourly Position Summary This position is responsible for assisting the Regional Program Supervisor and other staff within the Intake and Eligibility section.
This position coordinates with other administrative support staff within the region to ensure administrative functions are conducted timely to promote Regional operations. The Work You Will Do Provides secretarial support to the Senior Human Services Program Specialist which can include preparing corresponded and reports, filing, and mail distribution. Assists with the tracking and preparation of Waitlist and Community Affairs assignments including required monthly reports.
Answers phone and email inquiries timely and routes complex inquiries to appropriate staff. Assists in the coordination of work assignments within the Regional Office including phone and receptionist duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma. Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Programs. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledge of: Standard business format for letters, correct spelling and grammar usage.
Ability to: Perform basic arithmetic. Use personal computers, office equipment. Plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Demonstrate Skills in: Telephone courtesy. Typing.
