Quick Facts Location: 400 North 17th Street, Allentown, PA 18104 Start Date: 09/16/2025 End Date: 12/16/2025 Shift: Day, 8-hour shifts (09:00 - 17:00), Wed & Fri (potential for extra hours) Hours/Week: 16 hours (Wednesday & Friday), additional hours possible Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Valid Pennsylvania State Optometrist License, applicable certifications Experience: At least 2 years of experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $119.35 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel if applicable Robust referral bonus program What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision testing Diagnose and manage ocular conditions Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care Document patient visits accurately in EMR Assist in patient education and counseling Maintain compliance with all health and safety standards What You Need Valid Pennsylvania Optometrist license Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred Excellent communication skills, ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred Highly reliable, drive-in candidates preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in Allentown, PA, opening a new clinic where you will provide essential eye care services.
