Job Title: Oracle Business Change Manager Grade/Salary: Band H, SCP 38-43 (£50,908 -  £56,293 per annum) Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: 37 Hours, Monday - Friday Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth St Oldbury B69 3DE   Drive change. We're looking for an enthusiastic Oracle Business Change Manager to lead the people side of change across our Oracle Fusion environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping colleagues embrace new ways of working, maximise the benefits of Oracle technology, and support the Council's ongoing transformation journey. Working within our Oracle Support team, you'll lead business change initiatives associated with Oracle Cloud applications, ensuring successful adoption, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

You'll work closely with service areas including HR, Finance and Procurement to ensure Oracle solutions are intuitive, effective and aligned with best practice. About the role You'll act as a trusted advisor, helping teams navigate change while driving improvements to business processes, user experience and service delivery. You'll also work closely with the Council's Managed Service Provider and Oracle specialists to ensure changes, enhancements and fixes meet the needs of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include: Developing and delivering change management strategies that support Oracle programmes and projects Engaging with stakeholders across the Council to understand requirements and build support for change Leading communication and engagement activities to keep colleagues informed and involved Driving user adoption through targeted communications, training and change interventions.

Reviewing and improving business processes and workflows in line with Oracle best practice Working collaboratively with technical teams, operational services and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes Assessing and preparing the organisation for Oracle updates, releases and future developments About you We're looking for someone who can combine strong change management expertise with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

You will have: A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience Experience managing business change Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Experience working with suppliers and managing system-related change activities Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and presentation skills The ability to influence and motivate colleagues at all levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts Experience developing communication, engagement and adoption strategies that deliver measurable business benefits.
