Job Openings: OUTBBOARD MECHANIC Employer/Company: Perdaman Global Services Job Location: Australia OUTBBOARD MECHANIC Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience as an Outboard Mechanic At least 1 year of college or vocational training in a relevant field Ability to provide a valid Trade Certificate Good to excellent communication skills Employment history with no more than a 1-year gap between 2020 to present Valid passport Skills & Competencies: Strong technical skills in marine mechanics and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and optimize boat performance Familiarity with marine electronics and 12-volt systems Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills Physical fitness and ability to work on water and in workshops Responsibilities: Pre-deliver and fit up new outboard motors and boats Install marine electronics, including sounders, GPS, radios, trolling motors, and understand 12-volt marine systems Conduct water tests to check propellers, motor heights, and optimize boat performance Confidently handle boats on water during testing and diagnostics Perform trailer maintenance, including bearing changes and 12-volt system diagnostics Intrpret technical diagrams (especially Yamaha brands) for repairs and installations Communicate effectively with the Service Manager and customers to discuss, diagnose, and resolve boat and motor issues
