Promote Wellness. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management Offer expert consultation and recommendations to the care team Oversee psychiatric treatment for individuals in rehabilitation services Document care in alignment with clinical and compliance standards Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseDoctorate degree from an approved accredited medical school required• Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry leading to Board eligibility requiredMissouri licensure QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS• Experience with community mental health, outpatient setting/inpatient setting with serious and persistent mentally ill adult and/or child, adolescent population; co-occurring population (SMI and substance abuse) preferred• Basic computer skills along with transcription experience and use of e prescribe preferredYou'll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You: Believe in whole-person, trauma-informed care that honors the dignity and resilience of every individual Have experience working with diverse populations, particularly in community or rural mental health settings Are comfortable balancing autonomy with team collaboration Are committed to delivering culturally competent and inclusive care Understand the value of integrated health models and interdisciplinary teamwork About Compass Health NetworkAbout Compass Health Network Compass Health Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality care throughout Missouri.
