This is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Childcare team, supporting the team with a diverse caseload of Children Act 1989 and Family Law Act 1996 matters. Key responsibilities: Managing client caseloads from instruction to completion Providing updates to clients Assisting with case preparation, including drafting documents, reviewing evidence, and maintaining case files Conducting legal research to support case strategies and providing analysis on legal issues Performing administrative tasks, including updating case management systems and coordinating with clients and other stakeholders Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have: A law degree Experience in family or child care law and a good understanding of the Children Act, Family Law Act, Family Procedure Rules and Legal Aid Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Why Join Simpson Millar?
