Job Ref: 340227  Contract: Permanent  Hours: 5 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday only 04:00 - 09:00. Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Edinburgh Depot, Edinburgh EH11 4XX    Why this role pays off:    Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour    After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour     Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)    Paid weekday and weekend overtime    Additional Allowances:- o    Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year) o    Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)    Plus:    Excellent company pension    Paid holiday allowance starting at 22.5 days per year, rising with service    Medical cover (including eye and dental care)    Uniform and training     Additional Benefits - You will have access to your personal benefits account on our My Bundle+' platform.

What you'll be doing    Unloading / Loading parcels    Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport    Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail   What we're looking for    A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points     Someone with good attention to detail     Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg    Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused    Comfortable working independently but also a great team player   About us Parcelforce Worldwide is one of the UK's leading express parcel delivery companies.
