Job Title: Design Engineer - PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) Department: Engineering & Design Location: Mumbai Reporting to: Manager - Design Education & Experience: B.E./B.Tech Civil with 4-6 years of experience in the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) industry having exposure to structural steel design and analysis. Key relationships:Internal: Design Engineers, Detailing Team, Project Engineers, Estimation Team, Production Team.
Role purpose: To design and optimize Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures ensuring safety, functionality, economy and compliance with engineering standards. Key responsibilities Deliverables/outcomes Critical Competencies Required (Knowledge/Skill/Attitude) * Strong knowledge of PEB structural design using IS Codes. * STAAD.Pro / ETABS knowledge. * IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893 & NBC. * Wind & seismic design.
* Fabrication & erection knowledge. General Tasks & Responsibilities * Design and analyse PEB structures. * Prepare calculations and reports. * Coordinate with detailing, estimation and project teams. * Review specifications. * Support pre-bid engineering. Major Deliverables/Key Result Areas * Optimized code-compliant designs. * DBRs and calculation reports. * Review GA/fabrication drawings.
