As a Pediatric Hospitalist (Neonatal Care) , you'll care for infants in Level II NICUs and well-baby nurseries, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care from birth through discharge. Working alongside pediatric specialists, nursing teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll evaluate newborns, manage common neonatal conditions, stabilize infants requiring higher levels of care, and coordinate transfers when appropriate.
You'll also partner closely with families, providing education, guidance, and compassionate support throughout each infant's hospital stay. Beyond direct patient care, you'll contribute to quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts, and collaborative care processes that enhance outcomes for newborns and their families.
