📍 Job Location: Lake Charles, LA Located in the heart of Louisiana , Lake Charles offers a welcoming environment with rich cultural heritage, beautiful lakefront views, and an array of family-friendly amenities. 💼 Position Details Position: Pediatrician Salary: $200K - $225K, competitive Status: Open, now hiring Schedule: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent 🩺 Job Responsibilities As a Pediatrician , your key responsibilities will include: Comprehensive Pediatric Care: Provide care for children from infancy to adolescence, including well-child exams, vaccinations, and preventive care Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, and more Collaborate with parents and guardians to educate on proper nutrition, safety, and overall health Patient Management: Conduct thorough physical exams, order necessary diagnostic tests, and interpret results Prescribe medications and treatments, and provide follow-up care as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborative Care: Work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients Communicate effectively with families to provide emotional support and guidance Community Impact: Foster relationships within the community, building trust with families and advocating for children’s health 🔑 Requirements & Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board Certification in Pediatrics Active Medical License in Louisiana or eligibility for licensure Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in pediatrics (preferred, but new graduates will be considered) Experience in both preventive care and treatment of pediatric illnesses Skills: Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong communication skills with both children and parents Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Certifications: ACLS/BLS Certification (preferred) 💡 Why Join Us?
