✨ Now Hiring: Pediatrician (Physician) 📍 Location: Randolph, Vermont 📅 Coverage Dates: June 19 – October 19, 2026 ⏳ Contract Type: Travel / Fixed-Term 📞 Call-Only Position (No Clinic Duties) 🩺 Position Highlights Unique call-only role — no outpatient clinic responsibilities 🌙 Flexible schedule with overnight and weekend call coverage 🏥 Work within a supportive community medical center 👶 Be part of a team supporting 200+ annual deliveries ⚡ Quick response environment with a 30-minute callback requirement ⏰ Schedule & Call Primary coverage: Thursdays 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM 📅 1 in 4 weekend call rotation Begins Thursday 5:00 PM May extend through Monday 8:00 AM 📞 Average overnight calls: 0–5 per shift 👶 Clinical Responsibilities Newborn nursery coverage Pediatric consults in the Emergency Department Inpatient pediatrics (under 18) Participation in high-risk deliveries & neonatal resuscitation Stabilization for NICU transfers Support for pediatric emergencies & codes 📊 Additional Scope Manage newborn conditions (jaundice, feeding issues, hypoglycemia) Handle postpartum & breastfeeding-related inquiries Respond to common pediatric concerns (fever, vomiting, rash, etc.) Average admissions: 1–2 per year per provider ✅ Requirements MD (Physician) Board Certified in Pediatrics Active Vermont License Required Comfortable with independent call coverage Strong newborn & emergency pediatrics experience 🚀 Why This Role?
