Quick Facts Location: Belmont, NC Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent placement Shift: 24-hour shifts (rounds during the day, call from home) Hours/week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent License/Certs: NNP Board Certified (Cannot accept FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications) Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an NNP (excluding RN experience) Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and short/long-term disability options Tuition reimbursement, sign-on bonuses, and relocation assistance (to be discussed) Employee stock purchase program with 15% discount 401(k) with company match Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) Additional voluntary benefits including Aflac plans, long-term care, identity protection, and EAP What You’ll Do Provide advanced neonatal care for newborns in a new Level I nursery with an average daily census of about 5 infants Conduct daily rounds, attend deliveries as needed, and provide stabilization for newborns requiring higher-level care Facilitate transport of infants to regional NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for specialized care Collaborate with a team of NNPs and Neonatologists to ensure high-quality, family-centered newborn care Support the development and implementation of neonatal protocols within the new unit What You Need Active NNP Certification (must be board-certified) Minimum of 2+ years of NNP experience (excluding RN experience) Ability to work 24-hour shifts and handle neonatal stabilization and transport Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation About the Assignment This opportunity is with a leading healthcare facility in Belmont, NC, opening a new Level I nursery slated for late 2024.
