Quick Facts Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO Start Date: Immediate upon approval, flexible start options End Date: Ongoing / as negotiated Shift: Nocturnist overnight shift, 12 hours (7 PM – 7 AM) Hours/Week: 36 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time, permanent License/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license, ANCC, BLS, DEA, Board Certified Experience: 2+ years trauma surgery or fellowship completion preferred Pay & Benefits Salary Range: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (based on experience) Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000 annually via QVIP incentive, relocation bonus up to $10,000 Benefits: Fully paid malpractice insurance CME allowance up to $3,500 + 5 CME days Retirement plan with employer match (403(b), optional 457(b)) Medical, dental, vision, life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage Paid time off from start, family medical leave (Colorado FAMLI) Education benefits for select degree programs PSLF eligibility with guidance support What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive overnight trauma and emergency surgical care for inpatient units Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans within scope Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document all care in Epic EMR Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and medical bylaws Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education activities What You Need Active Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado (or eligible), ANCC certification, DEA registration, BLS Certification Minimum 2 years trauma or surgical experience, or completion of a surgical fellowship Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-acuity environment Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills About the Assignment Join a high-acuity environment at UCHealth’s Medical Center of the Rockies, one of Colorado’s premier trauma centers.
