Quick Facts: Location: 17 Belmont Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301 Start Date: 05/29/2026 Duration: Full-time permanent position Shift: Day shift / 8 hours Hours per Week: 40 Employment Type: Full-time Licensure/Certifications: Physician Assistant (PA-C) license required Experience: Minimum 1 year of orthopedic experience (not accepting new grads) Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (rate discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable Supportive 24/7 team dedicated to your success Equal opportunity workplace with ADA accommodations What You’ll Do: Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons on diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments Develop treatment plans under physician supervision Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab studies Assist during surgical procedures Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care Educate patients and families about conditions, recovery, and rehabilitation Conduct orthopedic procedures such as joint injections Maintain accurate, timely documentation Participate in rotational call coverage Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals What You Need: Valid PA-C licensure in Vermont or eligible for licensure Minimum 1-year orthopedic experience (preferred) Ability to perform orthopedic procedures comfortably Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment About the Assignment: Work in a respected healthcare setting in scenic southern Vermont, offering both clinical and surgical orthopedic care.
