Quick Facts: Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO Start Date: Flexible / Upon approval Duration: Full-time Shift: Nocturnist, overnight shifts Hours/week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Colorado medical license, BLS, NCCPA certification Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma surgical experience or completion of surgical fellowship preferred Pay & Benefits: Salary: $136,822 to $179,379 annually (based on experience) Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000 annually via Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates Benefits Include: Fully paid malpractice insurance CME allowance up to $3,500/year + 5 CME days Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement plans (403(b) with employer match, optional 457(b)) Paid time off, family leave, Colorado FAMLI, and other leave programs Education assistance up to $5,250/year for approved programs Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility with guidance provided What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive trauma and emergency general surgery coverage overnight Manage trauma admissions, resuscitation, and inpatient care Conduct evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostics Assist surgeons with operative procedures and emergency interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care Document all clinical activities in Epic EMR Support quality, safety, and performance metrics for trauma services Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities What You Need: Active Colorado medical license; NCCPA certification and BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years trauma or surgical experience (fellowship preferred) Strong clinical skills in trauma, resuscitation, and surgical support Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment: Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional trauma and acute surgical care in a high-acuity setting.
