Quick Facts Location: Brattleboro, VT (17 Belmont Avenue) Start Date: 05/29/2026 Duration: Permanent Shift: Day shift, typically 40 hours/week Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Full-time License/Certifications: Medical license, Board Certified/Board Eligible (MD/DO) Experience: Prior hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (note: actual compensation discussed upon application) Benefits Include: Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team throughout your employment Paid sick time compliant with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide spectrum of acute and chronic conditions Collaborate closely with specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other care team members Order, interpret, and respond to lab tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies Document thoroughly and promptly in the EMR system Respond effectively to medical emergencies such as codes and rapid responses Provide ventilator management and participate in interdisciplinary rounds Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement, and performance reviews Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, regulatory standards, and medical ethics What You Need MD or DO licensed to practice in Vermont Prior hospitalist experience preferred Strong communication, clinical judgment, and team collaboration skills Ability to work a stable schedule within a collaborative healthcare environment About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Brattleboro, Vermont, committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a rural community setting.
