Quick Facts Location: 1155 Mill Street, Reno, NV 89502 Start Date: ASAP / As agreed Duration: Permanent, full-time Shift: Variable, based on unit needs – no delivery attendance required Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics; Nevada medical license or eligibility Experience: Pediatric hospitalist experience preferred, new graduates with relevant training considered Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note, this is indicative; actual salary discussed during interview) Salary Range: $190,000 – $230,000 annually (discussed during interview) Additional Compensation: Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance available Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and disability insurance FSA and HSA options 401(k) retirement plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program Supportive work environment focused on work-life balance What You’ll Do Perform newborn nursery examinations and conduct circumcisions Participate in pediatric resident and medical student education Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, and hospital staff Work alongside dedicated nursing teams trained in newborn, transitional, and couplet care Practice in a 58-bed Level 3 NICU with 24/7 in-house neonatology coverage Utilize comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered newborn care Practice in a facility recognized for clinical excellence and collaborative care What You Need Required: MD or DO degree, licensed or eligible for licensure in Nevada Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Proven competency in neonatal and pediatric care Preferred: Pediatric hospitalist experience Flexible and adaptable team player About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Reno, Nevada, renowned for its comprehensive neonatal and pediatric services.
