Perm - Physician (MD/DO) – Infectious Disease - Bronx, New York, 10457

• We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to join a growing outpatient healthcare team. • The physician will provide expert care in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases while working closely with a multidisciplinary medical team. • This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities: • Diagnose and manage a wide range of infectious diseases and related complications • Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans and antimicrobial therapies • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed • Provide consultation to other healthcare providers regarding infectious disease cases • Order and interpret laboratory tests, cultures, and diagnostic imaging • Educate patients on infection prevention, disease management, and treatment plans • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Qualifications: • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease • Active or eligible medical license • Fellowship training in Infectious Disease • DEA certification or eligibility Working Hours: • Full-time permanent position • Monday – Friday outpatient clinic schedule • Supportive clinical team and structured workflow Skills: • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills • Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals • Knowledge of antimicrobial stewardship and infection control practices • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
