You will provide direction and support to a dedicated team, ensuring the effective delivery of services while balancing commercial priorities, customer outcomes and organisational objectives. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will use insight, innovation and sound judgement to drive performance, shape future activity and contribute to the ongoing success of the Personalised Registrations service.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to: Support the achievement of revenue and customer service targets through the day-to-day management of PR sales activities, including the PR website and auction sales channels. Contribute to the development and delivery of PR sales plans and initiatives, supporting the long-term success and sustainability of the sales scheme. Develop and maintain commercial awareness of PR products through monitoring market trends, sales performance, customer demand and competitor activity.

Implement agreed business initiatives and process improvements, providing subject matter expertise to support projects, operational delivery and continuous improvement activity. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, customers and suppliers, representing DVLA at meetings and external events. Promoting positive customer and stakeholder engagement. Support contract management activities for commercial suppliers, monitoring performance and contributing to the effective delivery of PR website and auction services.

Support financial management and budgetary control activities, including sales financial reconciliation, forecasting, performance monitoring, management information reporting and stock performance analysis. Undertake corporate managerial responsibilities appropriate to the grade, including recruitment, grievance and disciplinary activities.
