Join Our Team at Mgarr Pharmacy! 🌿 Are you a dedicated pharmacist looking for a role where you can make a real difference in people's lives? Mgarr Pharmacy is looking for a caring and professional Pharmacist to join our close-knit team. Full-time is preferred, but we would consider the right candidate on a part-time basis. As a trusted member of our community pharmacy, you will play a key role in the health and wellbeing of our patients, working closely with our small, dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities: • Patient Care: Dispensing medicines accurately and providing clear, empathetic counselling to patients on their medication and health. • Clinical Oversight: Checking prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness, and liaising with doctors when needed. • Team Support: Supervising and supporting our pharmacy technician and assistants in their day-to-day duties.
• Compliance: Ensuring the pharmacy operates in line with all relevant regulatory, legal, and GDPR requirements. • Stock & Services: Overseeing medicine stock levels and helping deliver any additional pharmacy services offered to our patients. • Community Engagement: Building lasting relationships with our patients and being a trusted, approachable presence in the pharmacy.
Requirements: • Qualification: A recognised degree in Pharmacy, with valid registration/warrant to practise in Malta. • Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication in both Maltese and English. • Personality: A warm, patient-focused approach with genuine care for the people you serve. • Work Ethic: Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of your work, whether independently or as part of a team.
• Experience: Previous experience in a community pharmacy is an asset, but we are happy to consider newly qualified pharmacists too.
