Job Summary Post : Physical Activity Consultant Job Ref : L1437 Rate of Pay : £14.40 to £15.16 per hour depending on qualifications (KA Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £13.52 under the Living Wage Initiative. Term and Conditions apply) Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week (Part-time hours may be considered) Duration: Temporary for 12 months (with possibility of extension) Location: Requirement to travel across North Ayrshire Role Summary: To proactively promote and deliver within the Health & Wellbeing Service and all related projects and events delivered by the Active Lifestyles Team Delivery of health checks and healthy lifestyle advice within local communities, referring to partner agencies where appropriate Delivery of consultations and safe and effective exercise prescription for participants referred into the Active North Ayrshire Physical Activity on Referral Programme Maintain databases and records within the Physical Activity programme ensuring compliance with confidentiality and access You Must Have Qualification in physical activity, health, wellbeing or fitness (HND or CIMSPA Level2) Desirable REPS Level 3 Qualification in Physical Activity on Referral or be working towards this.
