Physician Assistant – Orthopedics– (Clinic and OR) Monday to Friday - NO EVENINGS/WEEKENDS - Raleigh, North Carolina

Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy practice. This doctor’s specialty includes shoulder, knees, total joints as well as fractures. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.

Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have direct orthopedic experience. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no evenings or weekends. The location is in a smaller town within one hour west of Raleigh, NC. There is great all year-round outdoor living along with lower cost of living, universities and various cultural amenities.
