Provide vital outpatient chemotherapy and infusion services as a solo provider with midlevel support. Participate in hospital consultations with call support, working closely with ER physicians and hospitalists.

Practice Setting and Clinical Scope This opportunity is situated within a reputable hospital-based setting in Redding, CA. The role involves direct oversight and management of oncology and hematology cases, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
You will be responsible for managing a variety of cases, including all tumor types, ensuring a dynamic and engaging clinical practice. The infusion center requires your onsite presence for all treatments, supported by a robust team of skilled healthcare professionals. Schedule and Assignment Details Your schedule will include regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with remote call duties extending from Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM.
The position requires weekend call coverage, ensuring continuity of care for patients. The assignment is ongoing with an immediate start, providing a stable and engaging work environment. Availability for specific weekday coverage is highly desirable, with a $1,000 bonus for confirmed September dates. Support and Work Environment Join a highly skilled team comprising 1 clinic RN, 2 medical assistants, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing specialist, and 10 infusion RNs.
The environment fosters collaboration and support, ensuring you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. The facility uses iKnowmed for clinic EMR and Cerner for infusion services, streamlining patient management and record-keeping processes. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology. Active California medical license required. DEA certification mandatory.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required if requesting moderate sedation privileges. Fellowship in Oncology or Hematology is a must.
