Job Title: Physician Department: Ohio Department of Corrections (ODRC) Specialty: Internal Medicine/ Family Medicine/ Emergency Medicine Locations: Chillicothe OH 45601 Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: 6 months Hours/week: 40 Hours/week Job Summary: Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services to the male population at this facility.

Full-time services will also include spending ½ day/week at the male institution across the street. Schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Assignment may last at least 6 months and eventually lead to permanent hire if there is mutual good fit. Responsibilities: • Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system • Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing • Managing medication • Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated • Making referrals for specialized care or treatment • Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards • Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews • Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed • Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour Required Qualifications: • OH state Medical License • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine • DEA Certification • BLS certification
