Recycling Prepper Operative – Wednesbury Location: Wednesbury Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm Job Type: Ongoing temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Prepper Operative to join a busy recycling facility based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for a long-term position with the potential for permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities: Separating plastic components from metal materials ready for recycling. Using hand tools and power tools such as saws and drills safely and effectively. Preparing materials for the recycling process. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Following all health and safety procedures. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience using hand-held and power tools (including saws and drills).
Good practical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. A reliable and hardworking attitude. Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, recycling, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential. What We Offer: £12.71 per hour. Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends. Ongoing temporary work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
