Based in one of our two workshops in Worksop, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Plater Welder. The role involves working on a wide variety of projects, including power stations, waste recovery, building product manufacture, and quarrying industries. This full-time position offers the potential to advance into higher supervisory roles within the group.
The ideal candidate will have good standard of workmanship, be flexible to work with various material grades such as carbon and stainless steels, and possess relevant experience and training. Package Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (overtime available weekdays & weekends) Opportunity to proceed into higher supervisory positions Skills and Requirements Experience in medium to heavy engineering fabrications Ability to read engineering GAs and detailed drawings to a high standard Skills in marking out, drilling, cutting, bending, rolling, and various welding techniques All welding must be qualified and tested according to internal standards Plant operation skills such as MEWP, Loadall, forklift truck are advantageous but not essential; training can be provided The role may occasionally involve one day on-site, which would include an uplift in hourly rates (very rare) APPLY NOW #s1-Gen Wright engineering are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced Fabricators and welders to join our team servicing sites across the UK.

- Reading of, engineering GAs and detailed drawings, to a high standard. - Marking out, drilling, cutting, bending rolling and various types of welding. - All welding will be qualified and tested to our standards in house. - Plant operations such as MEWP, Loadall, forklift truck, would be of benefit but not essential, training can be given if required. - The role could involve the odd day on site, which would see an uplift in the hourly rates accordingly, this is very rare, but may occur.
