We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to manage production workloads, build CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure provisioning in a 24/7 cloud environment. This role focuses on continuous delivery, containerization, database management, and scalable cloud infrastructure. Cloud Infrastructure & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Architect, deploy, and maintain production workloads in AWS using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Automation & CI/CD: Design and maintain build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, or Ansible. Automate tool and service configurations via APIs and SDKs using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Architect, deploy, and maintain production workloads in AWS using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Automation & CI/CD: Design and maintain build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, or Ansible. Automate tool and service configurations via APIs and SDKs using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. System Administration & Networking: Administer Linux environments (Amazon Linux, RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS) and manage core networking concepts, shell scripting, and microservices deployments.
Database & Container Management: Support and manage deployments for relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and containerized application environments (Docker, CRI-O). Full Lifecycle Support & Monitoring: Support the end-to-end software engineering lifecycle, including test and deployment automation, architecture, and 24/7 environment monitoring and alerting. Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional project teams, apply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues, and adapt quickly to shifting business goals.
Qualifications Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in a software engineering related field (or equivalent experience) ● In-depth AWS experience running production workloads, migrations, and CI/CD pipelines ● Experience using scripts to automate the configuration of services and tools via their APIs or SDKs with a background using Python and other tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) ● Experience developing in a source-controlled workspace (e.g., Git, SVN) ● Experience with infrastructure-as-code approach to automating platform provisioning using CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Helm, Pulumi and Terraform ● Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Code Deploy, Ansible) ● Experience in deploying and managing deployments of relational database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) ● Understanding of the software engineering life cycle, including design, architecture, test automation, deployment automation, monitoring and alerting ● Support exposure in a 24/7 environment ● Linux experience, Amazon Linux/CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu Distro ● Configuration management tools experience: Chef, Puppet, Ansible; CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Pulumi and Terraform ● Knowledge and experience of working with containers (e.g., Docker, CRI-O) ● Knowledge and experience of working in Java application development environments a benefit ● Strong background in Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts; Linux and shell scripting; Experience in deploying Micro-services ● Excellent troubleshooting skills ● Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services ● Innovation, Flexibility, and Adaptability – undertake tasks
