Our client, a specialist Water Hygiene and Legionella Compliance company, is looking to recruit an experienced Plumber / Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team covering contracts throughout Essex and Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong plumbing and remedial experience who enjoys a varied role working across commercial and industrial sites, carrying out both Water Hygiene and Legionella compliance works.
The Role Carrying out remedial plumbing works on domestic water systems Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) removals and remedial works Dead leg identification and removal TMV installation, servicing and maintenance Water softener installation and servicing Calorifier inspections and associated remedial works Tank cleaning, disinfection and chlorination works Working with copper, steel and plastic pipework Completing all paperwork and reports accurately Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance What We're Looking For City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years' experience within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry Experience carrying out remedial plumbing works Knowledge of domestic water systems and Legionella control Confident working with copper, steel and plastic pipework Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good communication and customer service skills Full UK Driving Licence Package Basic Salary up to £40,000 Company Van Overtime Available Company Pension Uniform & Equipment Provided Ongoing Training & Development Excellent opportunity to join an established and growing Water Hygiene business with long-term career prospects.
