Aufgaben Creating Opportunities Together Postgraduate at the Energy Research Centre For a current research project in the fields of data-driven thermal modelling, simulation, and optimization of an industrial production facility with high temperature heat pump integration, the Energy Research Centre at FHV is seeking a PhD researcher to contribute to innovative solutions for the industrial energy transition.

Your Role(s) _ Energy Researcher: You work on scientific questions in the field of sustainable industrial energy systems and develop application-oriented technical solutions _ Modeler and Analyst: You develop models of thermal energy systems and analyze complex relationships using data-driven and simulation-based approaches _ Simulation and Optimization Developer: You design and implement simulation and optimization approaches for energy-related applications and processes _ Project Partner: You collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, actively contributing your expertise to the research project _ Science Communicator: You document research results, present your work in project meetings, and publish your findings in scientific journals and conference proceedings _ PhD Candidate : You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to conduct independent research within the framework of a doctoral dissertation at a partner university Profil Your Qualifications _ You hold a completed Master's degree in a technical field such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable discipline.

_ You are passionate about energy-related topics and motivated to contribute actively to solutions for the energy transition. _ You have good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python. _ You work analytically and systematically and enjoy tackling complex technical challenges. _ You have an interest in applied research and scientific work. _ You enjoy working in teams and value professional exchange within interdisciplinary research projects.

_ You have good written and spoken English skills.
