PrEng Fire & Wet Services Mechanical Engineer

? Key Responsibilities Design and specification of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, suppression systems). Design and specification of wet services (water supply, drainage, sewerage, hot & cold water systems). Prepare technical reports, drawings, and tender documentation. Manage project delivery from concept through construction and commissioning. Liaise with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with SANS codes, NFPA standards, and local authority requirements . Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. ? Requirements PrEng registration with ECSA (essential). Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in building services consulting. Strong knowledge of fire protection and wet services design . Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software .
