Primary Care NP Location: Nebraska Job ID: 283555 Start: ASAP End: December 31, 2026 Schedule: Part time. Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Openings: 1 Preference: Local and commutable candidates preferred. Position Overview Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans, including review of medical history, physical examination, and functional impact assessment. Review and analyze medical records and other relevant documentation.
Complete required documentation in the electronic system and submit within 24 to 48 hours after the exam is completed. Comfortable performing sensitive exams for male and female Veterans, including PAPs and pelvic exams. Work in case management system, submitting examination findings and corresponding with the Quality Assurance Team. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
At least 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner. NPI required. Strong computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel) and comfort using web based exam forms and EMR documentation. Strong time management skills.
