Role Information Position: Primary Teacher Location: Bury Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Pay: £130-£170 per day DOE. Your Day-to-Day Role • Take responsibility for delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of the class. • Follow school planning while adapting activities where necessary to support individual pupils.
• Maintain a positive and purposeful classroom where children are encouraged to learn and participate. • Set clear boundaries and manage behaviour in a fair, consistent and professional manner. • Monitor pupil understanding and use assessment to inform learning. • Work effectively alongside Teaching Assistants and wider school staff. • Contribute to pupils' academic progress, confidence and wider development.

The Right Candidate • Holds QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Has a strong working knowledge of the Primary curriculum. • Can confidently lead a class and deliver effective lessons. • Has good classroom and behaviour management skills. • Can adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and pupil needs. • Builds positive relationships with children and colleagues.
• Is reliable, flexible and committed to high standards of teaching. Essential Requirements • An up-to-date CV covering your full education and employment history. • Proof of Right to Work and UK address. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one. • At least 2 professional references. • A professional and reliable approach to work.
