This permanent position as a Principal FPGA Design Engineer in Enfield offers a salary of £65,000 to £75,000. The successful candidate will lead complex developments from system requirements through to fully verified hardware, working on-site within a high-performance engineering team. Responsibilities include FPGA architecture, end-to-end VHDL design, test benches, verification plans and documentation.
Applicants need ten years of FPGA experience, proven work with multi-FPGA systems, strong system architecture and requirements decomposition skills, plus exposure to Radar or DSP applications. The role also involves supporting existing firmware, leading design reviews, release activities and mentoring junior engineers.
