Description Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing strategic advice. Oversee the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide expert guidance on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other complex tax matters.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering solutions tailored to their unique needs. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering professional growth and development. Identify opportunities to enhance client services and improve internal processes. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of any implications. Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service for clients.

Profile A successful Private Client Tax Senior Manager should have: Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws, particularly in personal and private client taxation. Proven experience managing a client portfolio within the Professional Services industry. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and grow client relationships.

A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g., CTA, ACA, or ACCA). A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
