Key Responsibilities Analyse and optimise manufacturing and production processes. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives. Develop and implement process enhancements to improve quality and throughput. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Lead and support process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams. Develop process documentation, procedures, and work instructions. Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvement strategies. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Minimum Requirements BEng or BTech in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Process Engineering. Minimum 3 to 8 years' experience in a process engineering environment.
Strong understanding of process optimisation methodologies. Experience within manufacturing, mining, processing, heavy industry, or related sectors. Proven track record of driving measurable process improvements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Advantageous Experience Lean Manufacturing. Six Sigma methodologies. Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Project Management experience. Data analysis and process modelling. Exposure to automation and process control systems. The Ideal Candidate You don't simply accept "the way it's always been done."
