Role Location: Hull, HU8 7DS Our Production Operative opportunity is an operationally focussed role. They will focus on the processing of the ingredients required for our products. A high attention to detail is required along with experience of moving heavy materials. There will be a focus on promoting our Quality and Health and Safety cultures ensuring that targets are consistently achieved, and we work towards performance targets in areas such as waste, customer service, and equipment operational effectiveness.
This role will progress from maintaining a high level of operational hygiene and safety to full product ingredient processing. NOTE: this role will work a rotating shift pattern including days and nights., Operate at a fast pace, ensuring high levels of accuracy, achieving all production plans on time and to quality standards. Support the hourly/daily/weekly performance reviews in function ensuring correct downtime analysis is highlighted to Man Tech and action is taken in a timely manner.
Ensure all KPIs are achieved. Ensure have the necessary skills to operate own area to the required standards. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in respect of safety and quality systems. Take ownership for own training plan with support from the Technician. Ensure right first time completion of all line documentation. Experience in high speed manufacturing environment Experience moving heavy materials Ability to work to stretching targets Ability to undertake NVQ based qualifications Awareness of quality/Good Manufacturing Practice and experience of a KPI focussed environment (Desirable) Home to the world's best loved and trusted hygiene, health, and nutrition brands.
