The Role:   The successful candidate will work within the Boeing Global Services Programme Management team, based in the UK. The Programme Management team manage the post-delivery modification of aircraft for our Customers.

The projects we typically manage involve the integration of new equipment into the aircraft, such as seating, IFE equipment and monuments (galleys, lavatories and stowages). We frequently manage multiple stakeholders providing equipment and services to the Customer. Working together with the Engineering, Airworthiness and supply chain teams you will assist with managing the execution of the project within the schedule and budgetary constraints agreed.

This is a junior role within the programme management team offering an opportunity to develop your skills within a world class organisation. Previous experience within the aerospace industry or relevant degree would be a distinct advantage as will a working knowledge of Programme Management processes. Responsibilities:   Act as focal point for the company to worldwide airline customers  Assist Senior Programme Managers with delivery schedules, meeting quality standards, and financial controls from project award to final delivery  Identify and manage programme risks, issues and opportunities to protect or improve the programme performance  Assist Senior Programme Managers to lead internal programme teams executing the programme requirements  Coordinate internal activities to ensure all tasks are progressing in line with the programme requirements  Help coordinate and assist with major milestone meetings with the customer (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI) and compile resulting minutes and action plans  Portray the customers' expectations and requirements to the Engineering team to ensure alignment  Provide weekly status updates, milestone schedules and risk analysis summaries  Communicate programme status, on-going financial viability and identification of key issues to senior management  Manage customer change requests and support proposals for schedule and cost related impact  Initiate invoicing of project payments and follow-up on payment as required  Basic Qualifications: Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Preferred Qualifications: Studying or have graduated from STEM related degree Proficient in all MS Office applications, MS Project would be advantageous Previous experience of aircraft modification / integration / engineering projects would be advantageous but not essential  Ability to travel, sometimes at short notice  Able to work independently with some oversight from senior team members  Relocation: This position does not offer relocation.
