You will be expected to come into the office for this opportunity.Our internship will give you the opportunity to work in your field of study while simultaneously pursuing your bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university. These opportunities can enhance your academic training while teaching critical business skills and allowing you to learn about BPMI, the Navy, and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.Essential Duties:Assist with developing project plans, schedules, and task lists, including timelines and key milestones.Help identify required resources and basic budget elements by gathering and updating planning data.Support day-to-day coordination of project activities, tracking task status, updating schedules, and following up on action items.Monitor progress against plans, flagging issues or potential delays to the project lead.Participate in project team meetings, documenting decisions, risks, action items, and lessons learned.Assign and track tasks in project management tools as directed.Compile data and visuals (charts, dashboards) to support status reporting and project reviews.Gather and document stakeholder requirements and expectations.Prepare and organize project documentation (requirements, schedules, action logs, meeting minutes, status reports) in designated repositories.Assist in identifying, tracking, and documenting project risks, issues, and mitigation options.Learn and apply the organization's project management processes, tools, and standards; seek feedback and coaching to build skills.The essential duties identified are representative but are not intended to be an exhaustive or inclusive list of all the responsibilities of the position.What You Can Expect:A culture that values people through recognition of accomplishments, work-life balance, and a sense of community.A diverse group of talented individuals working toward the common goal of supporting the United States Navy in their pursuit of national security.Competitive and attractive pay andbenefitswith a stable organization.Opportunities to participate in BPMI sponsored committees and clubs, each with their own mission and purpose.Career advancement and professional development programs.Minimum Job Requirements:Enrolled in a business, engineering, or related undergraduate degree program from an accredited college or university.Minimum of four full semesters completed prior to your internship (~60 credits).A minimum GPA of 3.0.Requiresa securityclearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status.
