Project Manager Building Construction (m/f/d) Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000 Role: On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager: Building Construction / Client Representation to manage demanding public construction projects.
You will take project responsibility across all relevant planning and implementation phases and represent the interests of the client towards planners, specialists, and contractors. The focus is on consistent management of costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks as well as transparent project controlling and reporting. The role offers the opportunity to actively shape long-term defining building construction projects in the public sector.
Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for project management of municipal building construction projects across the relevant SIA phases Acting as client representative towards planning teams, specialist planners, experts, and contractors Management and monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks Leadership and coordination of architects, specialist planners, project controllers, and external service providers Ensuring a structured project organisation as well as decision-making and approval processes Conducting project controlling including cost forecasts, deadline monitoring, and target-actual comparisons Preparation of project reports, decision bases, and status reports for internal and political decision-makers Support of tendering, awarding, and contract processes within the framework of construction projects Coordination with authorities, internal specialist departments, and other public stakeholders Monitoring compliance with relevant SIA standards, guidelines, and official requirements Management of project administration, documentation, and digital project filing Support during realisation, acceptances, commissioning, and project handovers Qualifications: University degree as Architect FH/ETH, Civil Engineer FH/ETH or comparable qualification in construction Several years of experience in project management of demanding building construction projects Experience in client representation or project controlling is an advantage Sound knowledge of SIA standards, Swiss construction processes, and legal framework conditions Experience with cost, deadline, quality, and project controlling Knowledge of public procurement and administrative processes is an advantage Very good German language skills spoken and written Benefits: Attractive training and development opportunities Interesting and varied activities/projects Well-coordinated and dynamic team Market- and performance-based salaries 13th-month salary ROCKEN Jobs: https://rocken.jobs Create profile: https://rocken.jobs/application/profil-erstellen/ Work location Lucerne
