Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules. Establish project baselines and track progress against approved programmes. Coordinate scheduling information from project managers, engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors. Monitor project milestones, deliverables, resources and deadlines. Identify critical-path activities, scheduling risks and potential delays.
Recommend corrective actions to keep projects on schedule. Prepare progress, planning and schedule-variance reports. Support project controls, reporting and document-control processes. Maintain accurate records of schedule updates, revisions and approvals. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. At least 3 years’ project planning or scheduling experience , preferably within the electrical, construction, engineering or infrastructure sectors.
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software . Sound understanding of project lifecycles, dependencies, milestones, critical-path planning and progress tracking. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel . Ability to prepare clear reports and communicate scheduling information effectively. A relevant qualification in project management, construction management, engineering, planning or a related field would be advantageous.
