Role Description: Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of the portfolio, including supervising on-site staff, conducting regular property inspections, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring buildings are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role involves managing tenant relations and resolving escalated issues, overseeing leasing and rent collection processes, and ensuring compliance with all applicable residential tenancy regulations.

In addition, you will also approve expenses, and coordinate capital projects, while handling vendor relationships and responding to emergencies as needed. Your responsibilities will include: Drive operational excellence by leading site teams, setting standards and workflows, enforcing accountability, conducting inspections, and making timely decisions on repairs and procedures; Oversee maintenance and capital planning through preventive programs, effective work order management, project coordination, vendor negotiations, and regulatory compliance; Manage tenant relations by resolving complex issues with clear documentation, fair enforcement, and professional communication that protects ownership interests; Oversee property administration by ensuring accurate, compliant lease processes, approving documentation, and maintaining audit-ready records; Lead and develop staff through recruitment, training, performance management, scheduling, and adherence to SOPs and safety standards; Manage tenancy and legal matters by interpreting legislation, handling applications and hearings, preparing documentation, coordinating enforcement, and advising on risk.

Your Qualifications: As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced Property Manager who has successfully managed a portfolio of residential properties. You are a driven, organized, and approachable individual who brings forward comprehensive knowledge of property management best practices, and tenancy regulations. You are also technologically inclined and have an eye for creating efficiencies to support streamlined property management practices across the business.

Qualifications include: 5+ years of professional experience managing a multi-unit residential, affordable housing, or condominium portfolio; Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (i.e., business, real estate, property management) would be considered a strong asset; Strong working knowledge of property management systems (i.e., Yardi), accounting software, and Microsoft Office suite; Proficient in preparing weekly/ monthly/ quarterly operati
