Property Services Co-ordinator (Assets)

At Ocean Housing, we're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Property Services Co-ordinator (Assets) to join our Property Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving our housing portfolio, helping ensure our homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future. As part of a dedicated and customer-focused team, you'll undertake surveys, oversee property-related projects, support disabled adaptations, manage asset data and contribute to strategic investment decisions that directly benefit our customers and communities.

What you will be doing: You will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking a variety of property and asset management activities, including: Carrying out stock condition surveys and inspections to inform asset investment decisions. Assessing completed works to ensure quality standards are achieved. Managing applications for tenant improvements and disabled adaptations. Maintaining accurate asset management records and property data.

Undertaking energy assessments and supporting energy efficiency initiatives. Liaising with contractors, local authorities, colleagues and customers to ensure excellent service delivery. Investigating and resolving customer issues and complaints professionally and effectively. Supporting continuous improvement by monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to enhance services. We're seeking someone who combines technical property knowledge with outstanding organisational and customer service skills., A Level (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) HNC in Building Construction or equivalent qualification Significant experience in asset management activities Experience carrying out property and stock condition surveys Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills A methodical approach with strong attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently Understanding of GDPR and workplace health and safety requirements Ability to travel across operational locations as required.

Desirable: Diploma in Surveying Practice or equivalent Level 5 qualification Domestic Energy Assessor qualification RICS membership Knowledge of the social housing sector Advanced Excel skills Experience driving service improvements and performance enhancement initiatives.
